Cross Creek Zinfandel 2017

Cross Creek Zinfandel 2017

Grown on Sierra granitic soils, these grapes were planted long ago across the creek and are imparted with great depth of flavor and body. Pair with grilled or smoked foods including sweet Italian pork sausage and BBQ chicken. The wine will complement many medium cheeses such as smoked Gouda. View recipes on

Winemaker's Notes

Aged two years in small oak barrels, our handcrafted wine will reward the drinker for many years to come.

Tasting Notes

The 2017 harvest season developed rapidly due to a heat wave at the beginning and yielded an exceptional quality. The 2017 Cross Creek Zinfandel is a blend of two old vine Zinfandel vineyards selected for their flavor profiles by Tom Jones, Winemaker. The aromas include raspberries, cherries, and chocolate. There are wonderful flavors of cherry, dark plum, and black pepper with a long finish.
